Chelsea is a yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness teacher based in Mexico City. She has a passion for learning and has dedicated years of her life to understanding the history, science, and practice of the modalities that she not only leads, but also embodies in her daily life.

Is a Waldorf teacher, sculptor, actor, yogi, meditator, and resident expert in biodynamic practices, with a gift for captivating an audience, and seamlessly blending the profound, philosophical, and playful.

Is Tierra Jiasú’s resident biologist, a lifelong plant-lover and nature enthusiast with a special passion for, and background in, sustainable agriculture, permaculture, and the practice of syntropy.

Is an expert in holistic horsemanship, believing that understanding horses can help humans reconnect with their sensitivity, develop emotional regulation, and better appreciate life’s natural rhythms.

Nestled amidst majestic natural landscapes, five exclusive, eco-friendly cabañas, designed by a Swiss architect, and crafted from compressed earth and reclaimed wood, blend seamlessly with their surroundings.
Experience the perfect fusion of rustic beauty and modern refinement, where every detail has been carefully considered to ensure maximum comfort with minimal ecological footprint.
Choose from double-bed accommodation in a shared three- or four-person cabaña, each with four full beds and its own private en-suite bathroom with a hot rain shower, natural products, 100% cotton hammam towels, robes, and slippers.
Each cabaña features a wood-burning fireplace, seating area, and private outdoor deck with a macrame hammock, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows offering full panoramic views of the gardens or the starry night skies (including great blackout blinds so you don’t have to rise with the sun… although we’d definitely recommend it).

What to Pack:
- Ideal Attire: We recommend clothing suited for rainy weather, including waterproof boots (perfect for walking on wet and muddy terrain).
- Don’t Forget: A windbreaker or poncho, a hat or cap, swimsuit, and sunscreen to stay comfortable and protected.
The Weather:
- At Tierra Jiasu, the climate tends to be cooler, with morning temperatures around 5oC, especially during the rainy season. To stay cozy, we suggest bringing comfortable, thermal, and quick-drying clothing. You might also want to pack an extra change of clothes since we don’t have laundry service on-site.
- In your cabin, you’ll find soap, shampoo, and body cream provided for your convenience. If you prefer to bring your own personal care products, please ensure they are biodegradable to support our sustainable water treatment process.
- Be sure to pack any necessary medications, as we are located in the mountains, with the nearest community/pharmacy approximately 30 minutes away.
- Don’t forget to bring a reusable water bottle or thermos.
- At Tierra Jiasú, we only use natural sweeteners such as dates, or our own bees honey in the kitchen. However, if you use artificial sweeteners, feel free to bring them for your personal use.
- As we are completely off-grid and produce our own solar energy, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing high-powered electrical appliances such as hair dryers, straighteners, or electric blankets.
- Please note that our ranch does not have television, and Wi-Fi or phone reception may be limited to certain areas, depending on your service provider.
- There is no heating in the lagoon area, so please pack accordingly.
- Your cabin will be clean and ready upon arrival, and we ask that you maintain cleanliness and order during your stay.
- This retreat is a journey into nature, designed to awaken your senses and deepen your connection to the Earth. We invite you to embrace this experience with freedom and self- discovery.
